Pitch Sessions

Arts Midwest is hosting three separate pitch sessions in the exhibit hall each day when the Marketplace reopens to all attendees. Fast-paced and creative, these pitches are designed to encourage attendees to engage and connect with each other in new ways.

The deadline to propose a pitch has passed. Selected participants to be announced.

Pitch and Perform

Thursday, September 5, 2019, 2–2:30 p.m.

How would you use your time to pitch an upcoming project if you’ve only got three minutes, an open stage and a single microphone? Creativity required and actual performances are encouraged!

Speed Leads

Friday, September 6, 2019, 2–2:30 p.m.

Back by popular demand, Speed Leads offer both exhibitors and presenters a fun, fast-paced way to connect in a speed-dating setting.

Residency Showcases

Saturday, September 7, 11:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

The typical 15-minute performance showcase doesn’t work for everyone, especially for artists who prioritize residencies and other work in the community during engagements with performing arts centers. Tour-ready artists and ensembles with fresh, new, and innovative approaches to residencies are encouraged to submit!

Sign up for individual or small group meetings with service organization representatives and other consultants. Consultations may take place at any time during the Conference, but space is reserved during Marketplace hours for guest speakers and service organization representatives to connect with speakers.
