Achieving Cultural Equity Survey | Fill it out
Small and mid-sized cultural organizations that are grounded in historically marginalized communities are encouraged to fill out this survey from the Creative Justice Initiative. Responses will be used to make the case more robust and sustainable funding for community-based cultural organizations. Completing this survey will enter you to a raffle for $1,000 for your organization.

Americans for the Arts has launched a new, 5-10 minute anonymous survey to assess the impact of the pandemic on the employment of artists and creative workers, to better understand the impact of COVID-19 and the ensuing economic crisis, and informing advocacy and policy.

Apply for American Rescue Plan Funds through Midwestern SAAs | Learn More
Learn more about the funds available to organizations in the Midwest through State Arts Agencies and nationally through the National Endowment for the Arts as part of the American Rescue Plan.
Midwestern states currently accepting applications for ARP funded grants:
- Iowa: Grants of up to $10,000 for individuals, and up to $20,000 for organizations. Deadline: October 1, 2021.
- South Dakota: Various levels of grants available. Deadline: October 8, 2021.
- Wisconsin: Various levels of grants available. Deadline: October 14, 2021.
- North Dakota: Grants of up to $8,000 for individuals, and up to $20,000 for organizations. Deadline: October 15, 2021.
- Minnesota: Grants of $15,000 each to be awarded to 65 organizations. Deadline: October 29, 2021.

Applications open in mid-October
Chicago has announced a new $2.3 million relief fund for artists and creative works who have suffered lost income during the COVID-19 pandemic. The grants will range from $2,000 to $5,000. Guidelines and application will open in mid-October.

The Indiana Arts Homecoming is an annual gathering of Indiana’s artists, arts providers, and creative communities who are doing work every day to create opportunities that are vibrant, engaging, and embedded in the lives of our citizens.
