NEA awards over $13 million to Midwestern organizations

The National Endowment for the Arts today announced more than $88 million in awards for Arts Projects, Our Town, and Partnership Agreements. These fiscal year 2021 grants will reach all 50 states and jurisdictions.

In the Midwest, that means $13.5 million through 172 grants which will support the arts in areas such as cultural tourism, community revitalization, economic development, education, and health and human services. Congratulations to all of the recipients!

“As the country and the arts sector begin to work towards a post-pandemic world, the National Endowment for the Arts is proud to fund the work of our partners,” said NEA Acting Chairman Ann Eilers. “These agreements leverage federal funds for regional, state, and local impact, reinforcing the network of support that is vital for a healthy arts ecosystem.“
