For their second tour with Arts Midwest Folkefest, the Emilia Amper Band is gearing up to travel to Washington, Iowa, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and Devils Lake, North Dakota. Before they take off, be sure to attend their performance tomorrow evening at The Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis, with special guests Sprig of That!
Arts Midwest Folkefest presents traditional music ensembles from Scandinavia for intensive, week-long residencies, featuring public performances and educational activities designed for all ages and levels of musical experience. The program seeks to deepen awareness of the Nordic traditions, heritage, and history of the Upper Midwest and foster understanding and appreciation for global cultures. With spring in full swing and all technical logistics in place, the Emilia Amper Band is ready to hit the road!
