Calling all local colleagues: Help us plan the 2018 Conference
We are bringing the Arts Midwest Conference to Indianapolis, September 5–8, 2018, but first, Arts Midwest staff and this year’s Conference co-chairs will take a trip in November to tour venues and meet with local colleagues. If you’re in Indianapolis or the surrounding area, we hope you’ll join us at a planning and informational meeting the morning of Thursday, November 30.
Want to join us? Send us a note for more details and to RSVP by Wednesday, November 22.

New city, new opportunities
Hosting the Conference in a new location each year provides an opportunity to highlight the city and state, and we’d like to hear your ideas. What’s happening in the performing arts field that is unique to the region? What trends are you seeing? Who is doing innovative and cutting edge work? Which individuals and organizations are making that possible? What are the can’t-miss dining, shopping, and cultural attractions?
Prior to the meeting and to help us plan places to visit while our staff is in town, we also welcome ideas for potential Opening and Closing Party venues. We are looking for locations that could accommodate 900 or 350 people in a fun and interactive setting for either of these events. Please share your ideas!
