On September 8, 2011, Seth Godin, the world’s foremost marketing provocateur, will speak at the Midwest Arts Conference, in a presentation supported by Arts Learning Xchange.
Arts Midwest recognizes that many artists and arts organizations are struggling with diminishing resources, balancing the demands of new and old media, and competing for audiences’ leisure time. To address these challenges, Arts Midwest is hosting Seth Godin, Business Week’s “Ultimate Entrepreneur for the Information Age.”
In September, Godin will discuss the key to successful arts marketing—including how to get attention, tell the right story, and deliver remarkable products and services—in his keynote address, Invisible or Remarkable? Based on his best-selling books Poke the Box, Linchpin: Are You Indispensible, Unleashing the Ideavirus, and Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us, among others, this session will offer attendees key insights into avoiding the mismatch of new marketing with old, and will outline how leadership has become the most effective form of marketing for the new generation and new economy.
