Anne Romens is a committed arts leader with more than 15 years’ experience managing national arts programs, building and supporting teams, and making big ideas actionable. As Vice President of Revenue and Communications for Arts Midwest, she leads branding, storytelling, evaluation, and development activities for the organization – balancing tested strategies with thoughtful experimentation.
Her portfolio includes building and launching branding initiatives that drive innovation and growth for the organization and creative sector, overseeing Arts Midwest’s partnership strategy, and co-authoring “Creating Connection,” a research study that examined how arts and creativity align with and advance shared community values.
Prior to joining Arts Midwest in 2009, Anne worked across various social sectors with roles in museums, higher education, affordable housing, and organizations serving survivors of domestic violence.
