Anne Romens is a communications and fundraising professional with experience in project management, grantmaking, and content strategy. She serves as Vice President of Revenue and Communications for Arts Midwest, leading branding, messaging, and development activities for the organization.
Her portfolio includes building and launching company, region-specific, and national branding initiatives that drive innovation and growth for the organization. This works includes oversight of Arts Midwest’s social change effort, a program that allows her to draw on her interest in arts marketing, community engagement, and public speaking to lead workshops for arts leaders across the country.
Prior to joining Arts Midwest in 2009, Anne worked across various social sectors with roles in museums, higher education, affordable housing, and organizations serving survivors of domestic violence.

Anne holds a B.A. in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago and an M.A. in Arts Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
