Cari Hatcher is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Northrop. Located in the heart of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus, Northrop presents world-class dance and music performances, speakers, films, exhibits, and more, and is committed to cultivating intersections between performing arts and education. Cari has over 25 years of experience in marketing, sales, public/media relations, communications, strategic planning, education, community engagement, event planning, and fundraising, and also worked as a part-time educator for over a decade. She has served on the Arts and Entertainment Committee of the 2018 Minnesota Super Bowl, the University of Minnesota Institute for Advanced Study Advisory Board, the St. Louis Park Community Foundation Board, the City of St. Louis Park’s Arts and Culture Grant Committee, and various committees at the U of M. A Minnesota Gopher through and through, she received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and is currently pursuing a master’s degree there in Arts and Culture Leadership, with an expected completion in May 2022.
