Tools for Applicants

Performing Arts Fund grants are applied for by and made directly to presenting organizations (organizations that book artists to perform in their venues) in Arts Midwest’s nine-state region of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

2009-2010 application — CLOSED

All available funds for the 2009-2010 funding cycle have been depleted. This funding cycle supports engagements taking place between July 1, 2009, and June 30, 2010.

2010-2011 funding cycle

The 2010-2011 guidelines and eligibility are now available!

APPLICATION OPEN DATE March 24, 2010 (Application review begins on this date.) Applications are recommended to arrive prior to March 24.
APPLICATION CLOSE DATE When all available funds have been depleted. Varies by state and number of applications received.
ENGAGEMENT DATES This cycle will support engagements occurring between July 1, 2010, and June 30, 2011.
APPLICATION AVAILABILITY The online-only application will be available through eGRANT in mid-February 2010.
ELIGIBILITY All applications must meet the general eligibility requirements in order to be considered for funding. Be sure to read the full guidelines and eligibility before applying.

Compliances

All applicants must ensure their activities comply with federal regulations.

  • The Assurance of Compliance document will be available through the eGRANT application and will need to be signed by an authorizing official and sent with your hard-copy application package.
  • Connect to Arts Midwest’s Accessibility Center to assess your venue, create an accessibility plan, download access symbols, and much more.
