Properly crediting the Performing Arts Fund
Proper crediting of the Performing Arts Fund and its funders is an essential part of your grant. Arts Midwest encourages grantees to manage their grant effectively for the benefit both of your organization and the arts. The Performing Arts Fund is made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, Arts Midwest’s member state arts agencies, and other private contributors.
- As a participant in the Performing Arts Fund, your organization is required to fully credit the program and its funders, as outlined below. This crediting must be present in all print and digital materials.
- Failure to comply with the Crediting Requirements will jeopardize your current, as well as future, support from the Performing Arts Fund and Arts Midwest.
- Ensure your marketing department, designers, and other staff creating marketing materials for this engagement have read, understood, and adhered to these requirements.
- You will be required to submit at least three examples of your organization’s crediting as part of your Final Report.
- We are happy to review your print or digital publications for proper crediting before you go to press or go live. Please e-mail or call the appropriate staff member if you have questions or concerns.
- If you are unable to meet these requirements in any of your print or digital materials, please e-mail or call the appropriate staff member to discuss your options.

- Do not alter or abbreviate the credit line in any way.
- Font size for the credit line should be consistent with the majority of the type in your materials and, generally, not smaller than 10-point type.
