Ad specifications
- Ad artwork must exactly fit the dimensions of the ad space you reserve.
- Our publication designer will place your exhibit number in the margin next to your ad.
- Artwork must be in PDF format and created using the specifications below.
- Send your completed PDF file to Ann Christensen Arndt at ann@artsmidwest.org.
PDF creation specs
Advertisements submitted digitally for Midwest Arts Conference print publications must be PDF files created using an Adobe Distiller. We cannot accept ads that do not meet the following specifications.
When creating your ad, be sure your preferences have the following settings:
- PRESS or PRINT is selected for final output
- All elements in your ad are grayscale (photos, logos, type, etc.) UNLESS you have purchased a 4-color ad option
- If prompted to choose, select CMYK – never RGB
- All fonts are embedded
- Security is disabled
- Any font licensing issues are resolved
- If you are submitting multiple ads, be sure to create and send each ad as a separate PDF file
- PLEASE NOTE: When you or your designer is creating your PDF, please follow the following file name guidelines:
- Include your organization name
- Include size of ad
- Example: “OrganizationName_QuarterPage.pdf”
