Live performances at the Midwest Arts Conference

Live performances are an integral component of the Midwest Arts Conference and an important step in bringing arts to audiences across the Midwest and beyond. Presenters representing a variety of programming needs, budgets, and venue sizes attend these performances to evaluate artists for the audiences they serve.

As always, the Conference will serve all major disciplines. In addition, you will have the chance to learn more about classical music through discipline-specific professional development sessions, performance opportunities, and other activities.

Opportunities for artists, managers, and agents

The Conference offers opportunities for artists and artist managers/agents to:

• Coordinate their own independent or group independent showcases
• Sponsor an event with a performance opportunity
• Apply for panel-selected Spotlight Showcases (2010 artists have already been selected)
