Live performances at the Midwest Arts Conference

Live performances are an integral component of the Midwest Arts Conference and an important step in bringing arts to audiences across the Midwest and beyond. Presenters representing a variety of programming needs, budgets, and venue sizes attend these performances to evaluate artists for the audiences they serve.

The Conference offers opportunities for artists and artist managers/agents to:

• Apply for panel-selected Spotlight Showcases
• Coordinate their own independent or group independent showcases
• Sponsor an event with a performance opportunity

Coming up in 2010

As we do every year, the Conference will serve all major disciplines throughout the 2010 event.

• This year, you will have the chance to learn more about classical music through discipline-specific professional development sessions, performance opportunities, and other activities.
• Along with other music genres, dance, theater, and family programming artists/ensembles, classical artists/ensembles are encouraged to independently arrange their own individual and group showcases.
