New Colleague Connection

Make the most of your first Midwest Arts Conference experience by joining the New Colleague Connection! Here’s what you can expect from participating.

Prior to the Conference

  • Sign up when you register (or send an e-mail to katherine@artsmidwest.org).
  • We’ll match you with a mentor so you can start your conversation .
  • We’ll give you some helpful tips and resources to plan and prepare for the Conference (download the primer below).
  • Sign-up deadline: September 8

Onsite at the Conference

  • Don’t miss the orientation session on Wednesday, September 17 (3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.), where you’ll meet your mentor and other new colleagues.
  • Take advantage of workshops and social events specifically for new colleagues.
  • Tour the Marketplace exhibit hall with experienced mentors when it first opens.
  • Ask questions and make new connections.
