Exhibitors will have ample opportunities to make connections, work, and learn over the four days of the Conference. From intimate venues and small towns to larger halls and bigger cities, artists and artist managers/agents are sure to make contacts with great locations for potential bookings while strengthening and broadening their skills and knowledge of the field.

There are a number of ways to make the Conference more affordable, from sharing a hotel room to scholarships. We’ll post more information on these opportunities for 2010 when it’s available.

We want the Conference to be as productive and helpful as possible all of our attendees, and encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to increase your visibility and deepen your Conference experience:

• Participate in a Speed Lead Session and meet presenters in a speed dating-style setting
• If you’re new to the Conference, join the New Colleague Connection and start learning and networking early
• Meet new people while helping the Conference run smoothly by volunteering
• If you’re a student, or work with students, take advantage of the special student registration rate
• Perform live through showcase and sponsorship performance opportunities
• Become a Conference sponsor and get noticed (some sponsorship events even feature performance opportunities!)
• Advertise in Conference print publications and increase your visibility

Preparing for the Conference

Be sure to make use of the resources available to help you plan your time before arriving at the Conference. Whether you’re setting up on-site meetings, researching organizations that will be attending, planning your schedule, or sending a promotional mailing, you’ll be ready to make the most of your face-to-face experiences.
