It’s the middle of June and the Conference team has entered the busiest part of the planning cycle — summer!

What’s keeping us busy?, you may be wondering. Here’s a look at just a few of the items on the very long list of things we’re doing this week:

• Beginning regular posting on the blog!
• Finalizing topics for workshops and roundtable discussions and securing speakers
• Researching restaurants and arts and culture events in Indianapolis for online and print listings
• Processing incoming registrations and payments
• Finalizing contracts with the panel-selected Spotlight Showcase artists and working on the performance schedule and tech arrangements
• Updating the Web site as program details come together
• Inviting experienced Conference attendees to mentor new colleagues at this year’s Conference

…plus dozens of other tasks, large and small! We’re putting puzzle pieces together now…by the time you arrive in Indy, all the pieces will be in place!
