Online Application System Instructions

LOGGING IN TO THE ONLINE SYSTEM

Visit the online application system to login and begin your application.

  • If this is your first visit to the Conference online registration/application system, you must create an account before you can apply. Create your new login on the online system home page.
  • If you have previously registered for Conference or applied for Spotlight Showcases online, use your existing login.
    • If you’ve forgotten your login or password, contact us.

CREATE + BEGIN YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION

  • Log in to the system (or create a new login and password as described above).
  • Select the “Create a New Application” button on the Main Menu. Your screen will refresh and your new application (“2012 Spotlight Showcase Application ID:xxxxx”) will appear at the bottom of the page.
  • Select the green “Edit” icon next to your new application and begin.
    • Review your narrative responses for readability, spelling, grammar, and character count before pasting them into the application. The panel will see and review your responses exactly as you’ve typed them.
    • These are plain-text fields. No italic, bold, or underlined text; bullets; paragraph breaks; or other formatting can be accepted.
    • Responses that exceed the maximum number of characters allowed will be cut off at the character limit before the panel reviews your application.

FINISHING YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION

  • Save your work.
  • Return to the Main Menu and scroll down to where you see your Spotlight Showcase application listed.
  • Review your responses by clicking on the yellow “View” icon to view your PDF Summary.
  • Make sure you included the appropriate return postage fee if you would like your materials back after the panel meets.
  • Click the green “Edit” icon to return to your application.
  • Once everything is complete, proceed to the “Finish” section and select the “Submit My Data” button.
  • Return to the Main Menu and print your final PDF summary. You will need to include one copy of this with your hard-copy application materials.
  • Once you have submitted your online application, you’ll receive a confirmation email with instructions for payment. This email is customized for your application and contains critical information for completing your application.
    • If you don’t receive this email shortly after you submit your online application, check your spam folders or contact Conference staff immediately.
